Built from 1840, this light filled Chateau is situated in beautiful Dordogne and is set within a park with mature trees, long avenues, lawns and plenty of room to enjoy yourselves with two terraces at the front and back of the property, a large pool area, plenty of on site accomodation which all came together perfectly for the wedding of D & H who, along with their guests had travelled from the States and Europe.

We’ve experienced a lot of rainfall this season and unfortunately this wedding was no exception however it did not in any way affect the day. There was an outside ceremony followed by a drinks reception that started outside, went inside due to a downpour but finished back outside in sunshine.

The couple, D & H (who were the photographer’s clients), were just wonderful and a pleasure to work for. They had fabulous families and a great group of friends.

Photography by Isabelle Bazin whose tenaciousness meant not one moment was missed. Isabelle had put me forward to her clients and she very much led the day.

The Celebrant/MC Kevin Baker together with his wife, Tina did great work front of house and behind the scenes. They ensured the day ran to schedule.
