Chateau de Puissentut wedding films of H and C
This was a day where the wedding was not planned to within a inch of its life (it may have been but it didn’t seem like it). From my perspective it was had a feeling that it wasn’t strictly organised - I mean that in a great way. H and C’s day was ALL about the family and friends enjoying themselves and we also had a wedding. I really liked the way they did it and they did it their way.
I met the couple in Lectoure the day before and just after our little interview shoot we had a huge rainstorm so they will probably both remember that well. I love to use the pre wedding interview - well, it’s more of a chat - within the films. It shows you as you are in the every day and not just how you looked on the wedding day.
On the day I walked into the bridal prep and there was colour everywhere and organised chaos and I loved it. It was more calm with the guys but there was a lot of banter.
The ceremony led by an uncle was at times hilarious and very moving. The bride’s brother sang - it was spellbinding.
A bonkers confetti (for me - walking backwards elbow to elbow with the wonderful photographer and uphill, with a slight bend) exit and straight into a sunny apero with a couple of speeches.
Dinner was held outside with one of the most energetic entrances I have filmed and the barn, later on, was PARTYPARTYPARTY.
As usual, the team at Puissentut did an absolutely seamless job and everyone was fed well (with wonderful looking food) by Chef Soren and his team.
The couple received three films - 1 minute (below), 3-6 minute (below) and a 15-20 minute together with a number of screen grabs (below - I love to include these which is probably the photographer in me) and the audio.
